STIEBEL ELTRON New Zealand welcomes Oliver Joss and with him our latest range of heat pumps for hydronic heating.

With more than 29 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, Oliver brings his expertise to the building industry in New Zealand. Oliver’s qualifications include a degree as a Heating Installation Designer, HVAC Engineer and Executive MBA in Service Management. As head of technology and product management at STIEBEL ELTRON Switzerland he was leading their in-house academy, a training facility for in-depth industry knowledge on energy, heating and ventilation. Encouraged by New Zealanders’ interest in renewable solutions, he has recently joined the local team to offer his expertise in heating heat pump technology and ventilation systems to our local customers.     

According to figures from the World Energy Council, New Zealand ranks in the top 10 countries in the world for energy performance including sustainability. However, energy consumption is predicted to rise, and STIEBEL ELTRON would like to offer energy efficient solutions to the local market to foster sustainable living. STIEBEL’s range of hydronic heating heat pumps come with a COP of up to 5 which means that they only use 1 kW electricity for every 5 kW of heat they produce – energy efficient solutions that will build the house of the future.
